Lash&Grey, the Slovak duo of vocalist Kristin Lash and guitarist Jakob Grey have rapidly risen to become some of the most remarkable young artists on today’s international music stage.

 

Over the past years, they have enchanted audiences at some of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals - from Carnegie Hall in New York to major festivals in Paris, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Vienna, Germany, Italy, or Czech Republic. Their journey has already taken them to 14 countries and concerts at renowned festivals such as Jazz Baltica, Mexico City Jazz Festival or Nancy Jazz Pulsations.

 

In November 2022 they appeared at Carnegie Hall alongside leading jazz figures Keyon Harrold (Grammy Award winner, praised for his work on Don Cheadle’s Miles Ahead), Harish Raghavan (acclaimed bassist on Blue Note Records, known for his work with Ambrose Akinmusire and Vijay Iyer), and Martin Valihora (leading Slovak jazz drummer, celebrated for his work with Hiromi’s Sonicbloom). 

 

Kristin Lash, a finalist in the renowned Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition (2022), is celebrated for her exceptional voice - combining virtuosity with emotional depth. With prestigious accolades such as the Anděl Award for Best Slovak Album and the Radio_Head Award, Lash&Grey deliver a musical experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional jazz.
